My grandfather used to collect magazines until his death. National Geographic and Time he used to keep in a closet inside his house. The other magazine, the one with the bunny, he used to keep in a box in the garage. I could never figure out why.

I keep two dollar bills, half dollars, and silver dollars. Don't really collect them, but when I get one I put it in an old crown royal bag with the rest.

I have a lot of ticket stubs from concerts/sporting events that I have been too. I also have photographs from every game (except this year's UT/OU...still waiting to get my copies from my friend who is head of The Batt). Most of those concerts, I have had the artist/band sign the ticket stub as well. It's pretty much Texas Country stuff so nothing too high in value!

I started collecting shot glasses at the airport when I had to travel. One from every different city I was in. It's expanded to Beer mugs, goblets, pints, pilsners and various other glasses used primarily for the consumption of beer.

I have a collection of MtG worth around $10,000 in straight up face value, but more like around $4000 +/- a few bucks in actual value. Somewhere's in the range of 12,000 cards.
.
My pride and joy is my collection of pewter and glass castles. The best of which is a hand-blown glass castle actually made in Czechoslovakia. It's absolutely brilliant.

I have a huge collection of the Department 56 Dickens Village houses and accesories. I also collect antique duck decoys.

My husband has a shell collection.

As a family, we collect fossils, old glass bottles, arrowheads and other Indian artifacts. As strange as it sounds, we have spent many days looking for these (surface hunting and digging in the dirt).

It is great exercise and truly satisfying to come across something that has historical value and to know you are the first person to have touched it in many, many years.:)

Baseball (and other sports) memorabilia. I also still have a pretty large comic collection from when I was a little kid. Probably have upwards of 200 comics, bet some of them would be worth something if they weren't ripped to pieces.

Man, I'm a nerd.

We recently found a National Geographic from 1969, after the moon landing, with the orginal recording of the astronauts inside (On an old 45). It was pretty cool
