The LONG wait is finally over.....Men's first basketball game against Tech in Lubbock is tonight at 7 pm.....thank the lord, all the visable sanctions are gone and we can get on w/ our program....Sic'em Bears!

no non conference games cause of a "loss of institutional control" in a after effect of the Dennehy murder...i would go into it cause it is a load of crap, but it is over now so its not worth thetime...all that matters is it is over and we can play ball! Sic'em!

i didnt expect them to win, i was just happy they played....though if we make our wideopen shots and layups this wouldve been a much closer game....

They played hard, thats what matters right now. Even though this freshmen class is one of the best in the nation, they were still freshmen playing their 1st ever college game on the road. Game 2 (home opener) of their season will be Saturday at 3pm, game will be on ESPNU, but I will be at the game and I encourage anyone in central texas to be there too.
