The sad thing is that they probably really did try to send the bill to the cemetary.

When my youngest son was 2 (1990)- we rec'd an actual VISA card in his name...not the application but the actual CARD. I have no idea how/why it was issued, we certainly didn't apply for it, and it darn near took an act of Congress to get the sucker cancelled. It had a $5000 limit..... I should have activiated the thing and then let them try to collect from a 2 year old :rolleyes: The lady I dealt with kept insisting that HE applied for it, but ironically, she couldn't produce the application nor a signature... :doh:

You should have put your 2 year old on the phone and let the customer service lady talk to him.

When my dad passed away the credit card company kept calling after I told them he had died. They told me it would go on his credit report, I told them to go ahead and do what they had to do, I didn't think he would need to take out any more loans. They hung up on me.
