i saw on another site that WOS's DC (Thompson) is speaking at a clinic. i was wondering if anyone could tell me what their base defense is.

Coach Thompson is a great defensive Coach. This is only his 2nd full offseason back. He was the DC here in the 80's and 90's.

The longer he stays the better the Defense will get. Just about all returners on Defense as well are back. Weightroom every day!! ;) ;)

Most of our guys play both ways..here are the returning starters on Defense..Dominique Rhodes, Jacoby Franks, Andrew Bevil, Kendric LeBlanc, Earl Thomas, Justin Alexander, Dustin Locks, Jardon O Neal..

Whos the QB for next year?

jacoby Franks, he's the younger brother of A&M's Kerry Franks. He played Reciever this year.

Differences between him and beasley?

Beasley was a runner, a great one. Beasley actually passed very well this year. Franks throws the ball well and is a pretty good runner. One thing that will help us this next season will be an improved OL. One of our RB's last year was only a Sophomore.

How many guys did yall lose on OL and DL?

1 on the OL and 1 on the DL. It weights every day, getting stronger.

I'd say we did well against the spread, beating Jasper, Bay City, Bridge City, Palestine and Giddings. Not to mention that we practiced against one of the best spread offenses in the state every day ;)
