I remember the one in 87 where Kevin Smith of WOS had the interception return of 102 yards.

i wasn't alive when that game was played but believe me, its all you heard about if you played for the 04-05 or 05-06 WC football teams. we even brought back a few ghosts of the past from that team to speak at the pep rally

it wasn't me, it wasn't neck_94, and i don't think that scrub c did it, so that leaves two posters. i wonder who it was?

WOS87 does a great job on putting up data. I'm sure he'll be putting up other teams as well.

You forgot Poncho, but he already knows our history, as I'm sure Scrub does as well. I myself have been going to games since the 70's, so I don't need a list of games (actually, I've been trying to foget the '90's).....

Actually, this has helped me clear up something that has puzzled me recently. I destinctly remembered playing Dickinson & Friendswood in '86 & '87 as playoff games, but they didn't show up on our alltime playoff list, & I couldn't figure out why. I was beginning to think they were district games, except we played Dickinson twice in '86. Now its obvious there was a split district back then, & I guess zone games didn't count as playoffs...

So for that I thank WOS87......

yeah, 21-73 over a ten year period isn't very good. we did go 6-4 in 1999 though

They were zone games, but they were at the same times as that of the other playoff games. I don't know why they don't count.

The 90's were not good to the Dub.

You can see exactly where things went wrong in '88. Even with the loss of Williams & Caldwell to graduation in '87 we were still a very good team & whooped our 1st 4 opponents easily. Then the team blew up midseason, players were either tossed off or left the team, and it never recovered. I was off at college at the time, so its all just a painful, drunken memory for me.....

Holy Freakin' Crap !!!!! West Columbia was 5-6 against my Fighting Sandcrabs during that time span. I didn't think the Crabs had a winning record against anyone. Ever.
