I think I may be the only person on this board who actually likes their unis. The solid green with yellow trim are one of my favorites in the NCAA's.

I believe they said it would be the 9th combo they have used this season. I'm sure it will be interesting!

I like most of their uni's, but some of them are pretty much an eyesore. I'm big on cool uni's, so i'm excited to see this new one.

There's not supposed to be anything new about the uni's. It's just a combination that had not been used. I'm just glad they aren't in the highlighter uni's tonight!

Yea these aren't too bad. I do like the pants, except for that really weird design around the knee area.

Isn't the owner of NIKE from Oregon? It seems I heard that somewhere.

Oregon needs to drop the payroll coming in from Nike.
Take a look at USC, Texas, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida State, Nebraska, etc.....
Keep the tradition and quit playing up to the corporate sponsors.
How would you like to see your high school team "trick up" the traditional uniforms and/or helmets?

For some reason Oregon just doesn't seem to fit with the teams you listed. Anyway, they sure do get a lot of publicity for all the crazy uni's! Do they even have traditional uni's?

those black unis looked awful.
if teams like Oregon would spend less time on designing unis and more time on scheming they probabably would have won their weak conference.

You mean the conference with USC? The team on a 34 game win streak?

I don't care if your conference is so weak that Duke, Temple, and FAU are in it, as long as USC is there, it doesnt matter what you wear (or focus on).

Besides, the coaches dont decide the uniforms. They leave it up to the equipment manager and sponsor (Nike). Phil Knight, the Nike founder, lives in Oregon and got his degree at the U of O. He basically makes the school his model for all things uni-fashion.

I think he's an Oregon alum, and the Nike headquarters are there.

This is an excellent fallback position for the Ducks if their pro football hopes don't work out. They can work in one of Phil's sweatshops for Nike.

Of course, they will have to obtain an immigrant work permit from whatever Asian country in which their particular plant is located. And only the U.S. has open borders. These Asian countries are still pretty particular (and racist) as to who can permanently reside in their territory.

Oregon has very little tradition. They have to do something to get recognition because until the last 10 years nobody outside of Oregon cared about what went on up there. Remember the Joey Harrington and Akili Smith days??? Oregon (aka NikeU) had giant billboards of the players put up in Times Square to help with a potential Heisman campaign.
