A blacksmith had just heated up some iron to shape it into a horse shoe. Of course he had to use tongs to take it out of the heat and throw it to the the ground so it could cool off after a while. A minute later two cowboys walked by and one of them stopped and picked it up to look at it.
"Yipes!" he quickly yelled and dropped it to the ground.
"Was it hot?" asked the other cowboy.
"Why no!" he replied, "It just doesn't take me very long to look at a horse shoe."
