funny school mascots

i remember an old thread of mascots, but i just recently found an interesting (and embarassing) mascot name. my engineering firm is doing the structural design for the new Robstown Jr. High school. their mascot (according to their website) is the Fighting Weevils. now who on God's green earth would suggest such a name? i think i would prefer Cockroaches or Dung Beetles, well, mabe not, but you get my point.

Winters Snowflakes (I believe)
Hamlin Mighty Mice
Graham Dogies (that made me laugh for some reason)

Also, while I have no evidence to back this up, I would assume Lake Worth is the tadpoles? Can anyone confirm or deny this?

For some reason the Trent "Gorillas" has always made me chuckle. I dont really know why. A Gorilla seems to be a pretty good mascot when you think about it, but it just always sounds funny to me.

haha....Baytown Lee Ganders made the list, my highschool rivals, makes sense though since their school is right by goose creek....i always thought there name was weird though...

I know, that is why I put them here. For the most part, they are unique. I Get tired of seeing those regular mascots.
