For those interested in basketball. BH will host the annual Gulf Coast Classic for boys and girls B-ball. The Tournamnet will start on the 28th and end on the 30th. It is a all day event held between 4 gyms at BH. Below is the 28th schedule.

I'll keep ya updated as I find out. Liberty Hill gets a tough draw in round 1 Against a 5A team!!!!! How are the Panthers this year?

I think they have 3 losses however they are ranked #12 in 3A the last poll published last week and I see Stafford in this tourny is ranked right behind them at 13 in 3A. I see no other school in this torny ranked in thier classes. One loss was to #1 Bullard by 5pts and another to a 4A school they beat previously.

They should be able to hold thier own against the 5A school however I understand Dulles is the #1 seed for this tourny. We will see. Watch if you can, they run the press from start to finish then run the court on offense, no walking by this team. Fun to watch, full team effort, no superstars.

They did 77-58. LH has a really good team and hope they go far in the playoff's. Hung out with some of the LH parents at the game and I like their team. LH now playfs Stafford at five.

A couple or three seasons ago, there was a tie between us for first (I think). The tie-breaker game was here. It was sooooo sweet when we won! We (the family) were out to eat and the Wimberley team came in to eat where we were. The coach and his family used to live across the street from us a number of years ago and it was very difficult not to gloat when we went to talk to them. :D

We have a very competitve district on the state level also. Ingram was #1 in 3A for the first few weeks into the season, they are now #11 right in front of us. And Wimberely started out 18 or 19 and have faded however I see they are playing for the Championship today in the Sinton torny.
District opens in two weeks and we get Wimberely first game on thier court.
Should be interesting to see who comes out on top at the end, if anything there will be some very good basketball coming out of 27AAA

Lumberton has gotten better as the seasons progessed. We beat them by 12 earlier in the year. We are not playing real well right now. Hopefully the girls will get this out of their system before district starts.

This was prolly one of the best games ive seen in a while, BH made thier free throws in the last minute and a half to win 73-67(i think) over 5a Fort Bend Dulles in the championship game. Dulles beat Liberty Hill, Little-Cypress Mauriceville, and Hardin Jefferson to get to the championship.
