Two teams to catch are Rio Hondo and Bowie(14th in TABC). Does anyone know anything about Hondo and Wimberely? Wimberely plays Taft(14th in 2A).

Rio Hondo has struggled so far this season, despite returning their 6-4 and 6-6 big guys. Edcouch-Elsa beat them 90-51 early in the season and just last week, they lost their district opener to Progreso 66-60. Keep me posted on how they do in this tournament. Thanks!

That suprises me about Rio Hondo. They have knocked Sinton out of the playoffs the last 2 years and barely loss to West Oso and AP to miss the Regional Tournament. I thought this would be their year to make it.

Wimberely could not match Rio Hondo's quickness. Score at half was 24-12 RH. Wimberely almost went scoreless the 3rd quarter.

Sinton always plays down to their opponent's level. They have trouble throwing the ball in, their passing game is horrendous and continue to try to dribble through traps. Tonight I missed Lansdale. Four or five times this season I thought maybe we were not trying to win games to keep from revealing too much(wishful thinking).

Tonight trailing by 2 pts and 30 seconds left we took out all the starters and put all underclassmen in supposedly to foul. The result was a flagrant foul. So they got the shots and the ball.

However we got the ball back with 10 seconds left and only down by 2, called timeout to set up the play: and threw the inbounds pass away. Go figure.

OC always said that about BC ... i doubt that in HS coaches try to hide anything from future opponents, they use what they have at their disposal to win the games they are playing.

Rio Hondo lost their first district game last week to the mighty Red Ants, but it looks as if they have gotten their act together. Congrats to the 'Cats on their tournament title.
