So have the Texans locked up the #1 pick? They play in SF next week.

After his encounter with the Longhorns on the 4th, Bush will not want to set foot on a football field ever again... jk

Houston is 2-13 and SF is 3-12. Houston needs to lose to SF to clinch it.

Entering Week 17 of the NFL season Houston is 2-13 while San Fransisco, New Orleans, New York (Jets), and Green Bay are all 3-12. If Houston wins we could have a lot of teams tied at 3-13!

Week 17 Schedule:

Houston @ San Fransisco
San Fransisco vs. Houston
New Orleans @ Tampa Bay
New York @ Buffalo
Green Bay vs. Seattle

The Texans need to trade down and try to get a pair of 1st rounders and maybe a 2nd in next years draft for their first rounder. Then they should try to swap both of next years #2's to move up into the last few picks of the first round and get another guy that could play next year. If they play their cards right they could land 2 guys in the first round as well as ending up with either 2 #1's this year or set themselves up with two #1's for next year.

These guys need some OL help. RB will help but he's no miracle worker........

If they can they need to draft Bush. That trading doesn't work out most of the time. For example, look at Seattle trading for Tony Dorsett rights to Dallas and the Baltimore Colts trading their first rounder John Elway for nothing. History tells me to get the draft pick.
