YUCK !!!

28. Green Bay Packers (3-11) – Honestly, you have to pity this team after it lost Samkon Gado on Monday night. But cheer up, Packers fans. At least you've won the right to audition Rod Gardner for two games.

29. New Orleans Saints (3-11) – Jim Haslett can say whatever he wants about wanting to coach this team next season. The demand for a contract extension is the crowbar he's using to pry himself free of Tom Benson's disaster.

30. Houston Texans (2-12) – After fourth-quarter collapses led to three straight losses by a combined 10 points, Houston finally put one away in the first half. Now we can put to bed those conspiracy theories about throwing games for the No. 1 pick.

31. San Francisco 49ers (2-12) – A win would be nice, but first things first. Alex Smith has got to get at least one touchdown pass before the end of the season.

32. New York Jets (3-11) – Brooks Bollinger is starting to look like a silver lining to the season. At the very least, the Jets know they have some talent to work with if they can't find a more palatable alternative at quarterback.

Actually, I think the Saints should have been spotted 3 points every game this year for being a road team evey game.

Houston may get the #1 pick in the draft.

San Francisco got the this years #1 pick and trying to improve.

Brett Favre will probably retire after this debacle.

Which leaves the lowly Jets and Vinny as my pick as the worst team.

Man, I just can't stand Vinny. The guy should retire.
After his experience here last year, I almost get sick when I see that guy.

I guess he is sort of the poster boy for the Parcells old regime. Which, then I start thinkng about the Minni-Vinnie that we have on the Cowboys today. Immobile quarterbacks that play in the pocket like a statue. I wish at this point Parcells would put that second stringer in.

how many scrambling QB's have won a SB? the better QB's in the history of the NFL are pocket passers.

wow, all he's done kept himseld in great shape, play good (enuf to stay in the league) football for a lot of years, come to Dallas and try his best to win games for the Cowboys. its unfortunate that you dont like his style and that you "can't stand" someone who you don't even know.

but, this IS America where we can all express our views! Happy Holidays !!!!!

age and immoblility go hand and hand? best passer ever was Dan Marino and he was never mobile, even at a young age. When the so-called new age QB finally wins something, i might change my opinion on scrambling QB's. right now i'll take the style of QB play that wins when it counts, pocket passers with limited mobility.

And how many rings does Marino have?

Aikman was in my opinion the best QB to have in that era.

Well, I guess so, I don't think any of those mentioned were immobile. Are you comparing Brady to Testaverde?

Yes, I think the thread went to mobile vs. immobile quarterbacks. And Dan Marino's name came up. A great QB indeed, but you can have all the great passing numbers in history, but did it ever get him a single Super Bowl victory, and obviously the answer is no. My point is, Testaverde and Bledsoe put some good numbers up, but the bottom line is, I think Testaverde was a mistake here in Dallas, but since we sort of needed him in an emergency, I tried to understands Parcell's problem.

I also understand that Bledsoe has had some good moments this year..especially early on...but he is just a younger Vinny. I'm not talking about scrambling around like Fran Tarkenton did, I am just saying can the QB move just a little bit if he sees the pocket breaking down? At least move outside of the tackles and throw the ball away if the coverage downfield is going to prevent a completeion. Bill Parcells is a great coach, but man ya'll can't tell me this team was ready to play against the Deadskins the other day. That may have been the most embarrasing loss in many years.

thats on the players - they are adults, professionals, they should not need a rah rah coach to get them motivated to play in a game of that magnitude ... also IMO

Again 3a, I agree with ya...I am saying we should have had a better GAME PLAN...not rah rah.

Apparantly, we didn't have a solid game plan and the execution wasn't there either.

Heck, even Tatum makes half-time adjustments.

Actually Bradshaw was pretty mobile when you compare him to some one like Marino here are his career stats. Also one of the best mobile QB's was inducted into the Hall of Fame recently Steve Young was very mobile and he won a Super Bowl

Oh my Lord do we have to get in a pissing contest over whether or not Lew likes Vinny Testaverde?

And in Lew's defense, #'s 2-4 on that all-time list were all mobile QB's.
