does that mean cities would have to finance the building of arenas?

I'd rather see them sanction Powerlifting. Currently powerlifting has it's own sanctioning body in Texas.

Man i wish we get Ice Hockey in places around here, i miss the good ole days back when i lived in New England playing Hockey everyday! I say sanction it and let the cities decided whether they want to go ahead and introduce it into the school system.

not sure thats a factor for the UIL --- what other expenses would there be that other sport dont have?

now if you're tlking about too expensive for school, probably so. good bet that the only ones playing now would play anyway.
