My 2 year old is having surgery tomorrow. She has sleep apnea and she is having her adenoids removed and they will look at her tonsils also. She has never been a great sleeper and in order for her to sleep a few hours at a time she has had to co-sleep w/us. It sucks and I hate it but we all get some sleep. Anyway, after some research on the internet I thought she might have sleep apnea so we did several tests and she does. My husband has it also so that's how I got my little brain to thinking that maybe she does too. So we have to leave early in the morning and her surgery is at 7:15. So if you have some extra good luck vibes could you send them our way? And because I'm in a good mood today here is a picture of her in her Gobbler shirt. Please excuse the sunflower seeds on her face. You know how kids are!! She is on the right and my son is the 1st boy on the left. The other two are cousins of ours.

thanks!!!

I'll say an extra prayer for her (and mom and dad too) - hopefully this surgery will fix the problem and you all can get a good night's sleep......... keep us posted!

Remind her how much ice cream she gets to eat if they do take the tonsils.

Thanks everyone. I'll have to tell her about the ice cream. I bet that's the first thing she asks for when she comes out of surgery.

When my son had his adenoids removed a few years ago the dr warned us that his breath would smell. OMG....it was horrible and I forgot about that until just now. I am so not looking forward to the dragon breath for a day or so.

She is sooooooooo cute! Of course, she is in our prayers!

.....and a few reassuring words for mom, adenoids have been taken out for years..... I had it done when I was 5 (32 years ago). It is a routine procedure and the little cutie will be up charming people in no time!

Good luck to her....I think you are wise to do it at this early age!

Thanks for resizing it. Photobucket always makes the pictures huge and I wasn't sure how to resize it here.
