I guess you're talking about year-in, year-out talent, not just the most talented teams this year. If so, here's mine. It's hard to pick through all the 3A schools out there, but this is what I could think of off the top of my head as far as pure talent is concerned...

Wharton
WO-S
Jasper
Daingerfield
Atlanta
Dallas Madison
Cuero

Others in the mix...
CC West Oso, Sweeny, Wilmer-Hutchins, Tatum, Sweetwater, Abilene Wylie, Graham, Sinton, Kennedale, Commerce, Bridgeport, Gilmer, Texarkana L-E, Marlin, Cameron, Dallas Roosevelt

If you're just talking about pure talent, that's my list. Remember, though, raw talent doesn't always make a good football player.

thing about West Oso, is that they dont always have the proper person to utilize the talent

Do you have any idea much talent is being wasted on that basketball team? :D

But they have more athletes walking through their halls than any CC school this side of Miller, Carroll and Ray.

I agree with most everyone elses picks, but after finally getting to see Tatum play this year and looking at their all time wins and winning percentages on that chart shown on another thread, I would have to put Tatum at the top of the list.
If you left Tatum off your list, you must not have seen them play. How many other 3A schools had 5 legit Div.1 recruits on their roster this past year?

The best backfields, both offense and defense, prolly belongs to Sweetwater.

However, the best balance between size, strength, and speed, goes to Tatum.

I think this is a confusing question. When I think of "best athletes" I think of teams with several athletes. Now, maybe this team has the two best athletes in my opinion but someone might have 8 good athletes giving them more depth and making their team superior. Case in point. Cuero, Marlin, Jasper, WOS, Manor and Giddings. These teams have the best athletes every year just to name a few. Now teams like Cameron, Hutto, Tatum, Palestine, Burnet and several others have years that they have a few "best athletes" but they usually have years that they cycle up and down.

My opinion of the athletes I watched this year, Kerley of Hutto was the best. Just my opinion.

After reading some of the other posts, I realized I left off Gainesville and Tatum. I'd probably put Gainesville in the top seven, just not sure who I'd knock out.

Anyone ever seen Lufkin or La Marque play?

That's Wharton's athletes, just without all of the wins...
