When you look back over 2005, what are some of your own personal highlights ??? And remember there's more to life than HS football ... ;)

Well, I thought I sort of started a 2005 highlight thread, but regardless, two of my favorite highlights were the Mustang's victory over Snyder and Monahans. It was nice to beat the two most trash-talking teams of the year.

LewP: thats cool - but when I started this thread I was hoping to hear more non-football related accomplishments ...

like for me ............. being diagnosed with diabetes in January, then kicking booty and being taken off of ALL meds in September! yea for me!

Wow....congrats to your folks Deb.....

It sincerely remains a mystery to me (and I should know) how two people can do that. I'm serious...that is great to hear.

the biggest highlight for me was my oldest daughter accepting Jesus Christ as her personal savior.

other highlights include getting to meet in person some the friends that i've made here on the downlow. hopefully in 2006 i can meet atleast 1 more, that person knows who it is.

i've also been diagnosed with diabetes within the last couple of months. the blessing that i've gotten from that is with the excercise and with eating right, i feel like a new person. i now have the energy to play outside with the kids more.

My personal highlight was the birth of my 3rd son back in February. Don't tell my other two, but he's the favorite right now!;)

Graduating from college in 4 years back in May was exciting. Now if I could get a job offer from the company I want one from in the near future...it would put the a finishing touch on the year!

The music and movies of the year. And the Sinton Pirates pulling an upset with Gregory-Portland. After coming off a raining day. The Pirates managed 28-7 on a muddy field. I think this game was one of the best ones of the year great defenses on both sides and the most spirited fans from both sides cheered loud with pride. :)

mine would prolly be pulling the biggest up set of the year and beating Sinton in the first round

Started back to college to work on my undergrad degree. Pulled a 3.5 during the summer and a 3.75 for this fall. If you would have seen my grades the first go round, then you would understand why this is a big deal to me.:D
