Okay....I am officially sad!

I don't know why this football season was so much fun to me....but it was. My team was knocked out of the playoffs the first round and that gave me a chance to see lots of other teams I wouldn't have normally seen.

In seeing these teams, I was also able to travel and meet posters I wouldn't have normally met. Starting with the first game of the season and a trip to Cuero and meeting many posters...and ending with a trip to Dallas and meeting Kaorder last night!

It was kinda sad to have to hug Jason and 3afan2k3 good-bye and tell them I would see them next year!:(

All the way home from Dallas, I was just in a "funk"....I don't know what to do with myself. Count down the days til American Idol, I guess!!:p

To the many posters I was fortunate enough to meet this season...it was GREAT finally getting to meet yall!

Yall make sure you stick around through the off-season.....we really do have LOTS of fun on here!

It wasn't bad at all really! We finally were able to get off that side road and merge into traffic, what I didn't understand is, Jason and 3afan2k3 left AFTER we did....we were kinda stalled in traffic and I looked up realized that Jason was sitting in FRONT of us!

I called him and asked him how he got in front of us....he had no idea. He asked me.."how far behind me are you?" I said, "turn around, we are RIGHT behind you"!

It was nice.....the road construction around it was the pits, but that seem to be the norm.

DFW is a nice place to visit, but I DARN SURE wouldn't wanna live there!

I told Jason I could get to San Angelo quicker than I could make the 30 mile trip to Tx Stadium!

though Memorial seats more I still like Mesquite Hanby better....especially the press box....

We passed the new Stadium in Denton on Loop 288 on our way home today.

That stadium looks REALLY nice too!

I'm surprised the new DISD Kinkaid Stadium didnt have more playoff games.

:( No more Fans cheering out there hearts for their favorite teams
:( No more buses traveling all over this great state
:( No more cheerleaders firing up the crowd
:( No more players running onto the field as the fight songs plays

im sad too , but it started the week we couldnt see Sinton and Cuero play because of that stinkin hurricane Rita. i was looking forward to signing the flag too, but that didnt happen. oh well, there is always next year

from what I heard during the playoffs DISD was charging too much!
