Whose the biggest lineman in 3A?

Chief Woodman
11-08-2003, 06:07 PM
Opening bid.....5'6". 150 lbs.....

Gilmer Buckeye
11-08-2003, 06:16 PM
Fred Walker of Gilmer, the right guard, weighs about 320. When our QB needs a few more yards to get a first down, he just grabs Fred's jersey and the big guy tugs him downfield to the end of the chain.

What do you ya'll feed him, defensive backs or
qb subs. I bet they had to increase the travel budget to cover his food. I guess the administration prays for home games!!

Depends on if you want width or height. I vote on Huntington's lineman. He is huge. You can't miss him on the field, and he plays a lot.

what happened to him and his twin (?!?!?) brother? I remember that Lawrence was a f'n terror on the field that swept to the left and had Sealy's jaws on the ground in a semi final game. He was like 5'6 or so as well if I remember and could outrun a cheetah. What are they both doing these days?

Abilene Wylie has a offensive guard that is 330lbs or use to be and is about 6'3". and Brady has a guy that is about 350 6'1". That was 680 lbs going at it right there.

I haven't heard anyone mention Kellen Heard of Wharton. He's 6'6" and weighs in at 340, possibly more. Word is, Miami Hurrincanes have recruited him for next year. He plays both sides of the ball OL/DL. Anybody know of anybody bigger than 6'6"?

Oops, my bad! The other posts must have come in after mine. Never mind. I also stand corrected, he's 6'7". I was getting my info from a team roster sheet.

Huntington does have some huge kids. They have 2 linemen, one is 6'5, the other 6'4. One weighs in at 325 the other 405, or is it 305 and 425. Not that it makes a lot of difference. I'm not even for sure which weight goes with which height, but these two fella's are huge. But, even with the size, Huntington is still the doormat of that district. Just my take.

On the Edna OL I think the tallest is 6'6" a junior and he's still getting bigger, he's like 250, then another is about 6'2" and I think 280...

Heard from wharton is tall but not big, not strong. so what if he's going to Miami he isn't worth anything to them like I am. he is a weak, slow slob who has no game. He can't handle me.
He can't handle the.... U ....

I have something, two teams with possibly the biggest avr. lineman face each other this week that Cuero and Wharton. Cuero averages 330 to 340 pounds across the OL. Wharton Averages 350 to 360 Across the OL.

Cuero has a kid that they list at about 400 (if I remember correctly). He played pretty well against us in a spot duty role. Don't recall his name. Maybe the Goob can enlighten us.

The two big boys from Cuero are Jeremy Spencer who is 6'-1" and listed at 400. Actually somewhere between 410 and 415. I think his powerlifting numbers are something like 700 lb. squat and close to 600 deadlift. Roy Sierra is 6'-1" and 340 lbs. Other linemen. Ross Nigh 6'-5" - 265. Art Hunter 6'-2" - 255. Bryan Weaver 6'-2" - 250. The small guy is the center. J.T. Rudd. 6'-0" - 215 lbs. Hunter is the only senior. Remaining linemen have played every down together since the seventh grade. Should be very good next year.

"Big T" from Bellville is taller than 6'7 and weighs more than 270. Not much difference, but he's 6'8 280.

Josh Virnoche of Kennedale 6'5'' (barefoot) and 250lbs
