Pee Wee Football Tournament starts today! [Archive]

Football isn’t exactly over. New Bay Area Youth Football League starts its 3rd annual “Bash by the Bay” Pee Wee football tournament today, in Aransas Pass. Something like 32 or so teams from all over will be participating. Starts Friday at about 3:00 pm and ends Sunday about 10:00 pm.

That is awesome!! Tell me more about it. We had talked about finding something beyond the Championship game in Abilene for the team to paly in, Maybe someday we can do this!!!

There are teams coming from Houston to play down here. My sister runs the clock, i do some announcing, and my dad is the ref. its a family affair pretty much. Its pretty much South Texas All Star Teams vs the league. I know there is a team coming in from houston i believe. . . a great THREE days of football

That is what our league is doing. We played our championship game last week. This tournament is getting bigger every year, and I believe it is open to anyone. The guy in charge told me he had to turn down teams because his brackets were already full. The future plans are to have the tournament at two football stadiums at the same time. Let me know and I'll get his phone number for you and maybe you can give him a call.

The absolute best pewee football team in the land is the 5-6th grade Forney Jackrabbits.

Hands down.

The only pewee football team that I have ever seen that can kick 30yrd field goals.:eek:

We lost the championship to the Taft Jr's. We beat them 12-0 and 19-0 during the season, and lost the Championship to them 13-0. Go figure.:mad: :mad:

Actualy it's 7-9 yr olds in the Jr. Div. and 10-12 yr olds in the Sr. Div.

lol....I just dropped my daughter off about 30 minutes ago and she has already called for a taxi (me) to pick up her and her friends and take them to Pizza Hut....................

Here is a photo of the Burleson County Youth Football 3-4 grade champs. This team was 7-0 and did not allow a score all year. We would play any team that was the same age bracket. Was a great ride...........
