How funny!! I voted Miami for what they did to Texas in the Cotton
bowl several years back. Back when Jimmy Johnson was coaching
the canes. Worst show of sportsmanship ever shown on a
college football field. I believe the final score was 55-2.

Hmm....that list really doesn't reflect the most hated. Half the schools on that list people really like, a few schools people don't really care about, and the others aren't too bad.

The most hated should start and end with ND.

1.) Notre Dame
2.) Miami
3.) Nebraska (but it's toned down since they starting losing.)
4.) Notre Dame

So, I figured I would include regional schools and Florida schools.

in my opinion, notre dame and miami are the most hated. they are also the most loved. kinda like the cowboys. you either love as most texans do, or you hate them like basically the rest of the world. notre dame and miami have huge nationwide fans bases. my personal worst hated is in lubbock:D

That is because in the Big 8 we had OSU, KSU, ISU and it was decided the rest would be be called OU, NU, KU, CU, and MU. The STATE universities had the U on the end of their logo so they decided to keep the pattern with the other universities. It has no reason other than that....it was something done by the Big 8 (in the early days) :)
