Football is quickly becoming a fading memory for those of us that aren’t Hippos or Eagles, so my minds been wondering to more trivial matters of late. Here is an example; What are some of your favorite old TV series. This is mainly for those of us who have a little gray in our hair, so you youngsters may not recognize some of these.
Here goes;

Wagon Train
Rawhide
Have Gun Will Travel
The Rifleman
Big Valley
The Virginian
Bonanza
Rat Patrol
Mod Squad
Adam 12
Hawaii Five-O
Gomer Pyle USMC
The Fugitive
Manix

Some of these, I haven’t seen in 30 yrs or more. I know I’m probably forgetting some great ones. Help me out here! What’s your favorite? Did you hate any of them?

We only had one channel at the ranch when I was little and everything was in black and white, but I remember the biggest tv night for us was Sunday night when Bonanza came on right before the Wonderful World of Disney. For a kid back then nothing matched Disney, but Bonanza was my favorite western!

Some good westerns were Maverick with James Garner, Wanted Dead or Alive with Steve McQueen and Gunslinger which was a popular but all too brief hit with Tony Young as Cord.

I also liked the 1958 - 60 series called Tombstone Territory with Pat Conway. I saw it on reruns in the 60s. I sure wish the western channel would get it.

Also the Wild Wild West with Robert Conrad.
