A Sq + B Sq = C Sq ?

A question as I have been out of school since the 70's and have trouble remembering some of the formulas.

yeah, you fill in what you know.

say you know that side a = 5, side c=13.

square them both and you wind up with 25+b^2 = 169...
subtract 25 from each side...

b^2 = 144
b = 12... :)

thats todays math lesson :)
