Artificial or Real?

Just wondering if more people had Artificial Christmas trees or Real ones.

i have an artificial tree.

Real...but not because I had any say so in that decision.

The last time we had a real tree, I was fighting pine needles as late as the following May

Artificial. I think we've had the same one for the past 10 years. And it shows.....gets harder every year to keep it all together when we put it up.

Artificial.....downsized last year to a 7' pre-lit tree.

Took me all of 5 minutes to have it up and running this year......then about an hour to decorate it!

I'm with you on the allergies. If I had a real tree I wouldn't be able to breath until the following Christmas.

I like either Artificial or Real ones... as long as...

1.) They don't sag to one side or the other.

2.) They aren't skinny.

3.) They are nicely sized and shaped.

4.) They look good with a little flashy decorations on them.

5.) And have a nice little point on the end.


As the man of the house... I now enjoy taking care of the trees... I get them out of their package... use both hands to get 'em out in the open... get em standing up nice and square, then go up and down the sides with my hands till they look very well shaped... and last but not least, I get to grab the tops of them and put decorative stars on them.

Ho, Ho, Ho.... Gotta love that Tree Trimming!!!

i like the fake..they keep their shape over the years and should last a long time, plus they are a little firmer and fun to experiment with. you can always get the to look BIG, or u can get them quite small, true they are more expensive than sticking with the real ones, do any of yall like the tinsil that dangles from them?? regardless of real or fake, tinsil danglin from both is GREAT!!!

hahahahahaha.....well...sometimes u get a natural thats too big and have to get a reduction, but after trimming, you and your wife realize the mistake, yall end up getting artificial that complies w/ ur size standards perfectly!:D

Oh lordy.....and I thought the gay movie thread was bad........... :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Well since everyone else has thrown caution to the wind....I like the real ones....but they gotta be straight and the bigger the better!!....wimpy ones just won't do....they are so pretty when they stand up straight and tall...some just don't last long enough tho..and that's just sad. The best thing about artificial is that they stand straight mostly on thier own without much support from underneath.
