By the movie company who put the money for the movie to be made, Since the late 90's there have been talks of the remake to be made. They couldn't find a director, But Peter Jackson signed on agreed to do it after he would finish Lord Of The Rings movies

Well i wouldn't want to keep anyone from going out and seeing this show, but a bunch of my friends went out for the midnight showing last night and said it was 3 and a half hours of cinema torture. But, you know how people and their opinions are.

I caught it at midnight last night and thought it was pretty good. Kind of slow at times, but other than that I liked it.

kind of like seeing Jim Carrey (Spelling) in a serious role...they have gotten their fame by being funny and acting stupid and when you see him in a movie you automatically see him as being funny.....

Just got in.

Some advice.

Dress comfortably and go to a theater with big seats.

This baby is long.

3 hrs and about 11 min.

Long and silly but it is a must see on the big screen. It will be lame if you wait for the DVD.

Funny note,

The most unbelievable part of the movie is not the dinosaurs or the 50 ft tall monkey. Or even the four foot cockroaches. The most unbelievable part of the movie is the fact that the girl does not get hurt.

I TOTALLY AGREE! How did she not get hurt. Just got back and I thought it was GREAT. Definately worth it to see in the theaters. Really cool and a lot of fun. Don't wait for the DVD.

If you don't go see it. Wait until it only costs 99cents to rent. This movie MUST be seen on the big screen. That is it's only redeeming value.

Yeah except there is one problem. JACK BLACK IS NOT FUNNY. Then again neither is JimCarrey. Now Vince Vaughn.....THAT is comedic gold for you!

I thought it was an excellent movie. If you appreciate seamless computer generated creatures and scenes, this movie is great to go see in the theaters. Of course the storyline kept with the original and the cast did a good job. This one is definitely going to be a box office smash.

Peter Jackson is one of the great directors out there, Congrats to him on another million dollar film. After the success of the Lord Of The Rings series he's now gonna be more richer. I think this film will be on of the Top Box Office smashes of 2005:clap: Maybe the #1 film of the year:)
