Greenwood has a lot of returning starters coming back. If they continue to improve...they may unseat Monahans next year as the district champion. Monahans loses alot of senior linemen which could be huge...they were the strength of the team this year and allowed Graves and Co. to have alot of room to run.

Monahans has to replace the defensive mvp's in Larry Jasso and Steven Richardson. They both were seniors.

Greenwood had 3 Sophs and 7 Juniors who made all-district. 1 of those Sophs and 1 of those Juniors made all-district on both sides of the ball. We have a few more soph/junior returning starters and several more who got some playing time on the varsity this year.

It would look like we are going to have a strong team but you never know!
