Fairfield still perfect, 52-38

The Fairfield Eagles left no doubt in the championship game of the Fairfield Tournament Saturday night, stomping out a No. 10-ranked Waco La Vega team, 52-38.

The Eagles held a narrow 21-18 lead at halftime, but blew the Pirates away in the second half.

Asa Douglas led the Eagles with a game-high 13 points while Alfraid Manning added 10.

The win brings Fairfield to 13-0 on the season and plays host to Mart tonight.
