Hutto's ball control offense is working pretty darn good. That 1st quarter drive for their 1st td used over eight minutes of the quarter. 16 play 89 yard drive. That's the best defense against cuero. Keeps the gobbler offense off the field . A very good game plan

Yeah thats what i was saying earlier this week. Hutto is gonna pound and pound that ball. Best way to beat Cuero is for them not to have the ball. Cuero can score fast. So its important for both teams to open up strong this 2nd half.

I'm not surprised and I bet folks from Marlin aren't either. Hutto is underated, and they had Cuero right where they wanted them. All the pressure was on Cuero as no one expected the Hippos to win. The Hippos played their game all night, ball control, tough D keeping the Gobbler O off the field. Great game. Congrats to Hutto and hope yall win State. Congrats to another fine season Cuero. Yall impressed everyone all year and deserve credit for another great run for State.
