#99, Donovan King, is a former Raider. He is out right now with a wrist injury. Not sure if he'll play tonight or not.

what a bonehead move.

If I have 1:27 with 3 TO's and the other team has none...geeez

Let your players play...see it they can give the kicker a chance to win it for you at the end. At least that way, you wont look back and say "I wonder if..."

I have never been a SWT fan, but sure wanted them to represent the southland in the championship game, and they were in it up to that point as far as I am concerned.

With 1:37 left and three timeouts remaining score tied 37 - 37 and on the 25 yardline TSU runs the clock out taking knees three times. The fans were dumbstruck as were the announcers! What reasoning is this? With a qb like Neely and a 6'7" receiver in #86 White they could have marched down to the 20 and won it on a fieldgoal. Needless to say TSU lost in overtime on a desperation pass interception by Neely to avoid a sack. When asked by the sideline announcer after the loss why he did this Coach said he was afraid they would turn it over and lose on a fieldgoal in the final seconds. Playing to avoid losing is a losing strategy every time. TSU's Coach will have some 'splain to do for that decision. What a shame as TSU desrved the win and their Coach lost it for them with this bone head decision. I stomped on my hat I was so upset.

Im with you, BONEHEAD call by the Tx State Coach. The coach lost this one with his stupid call to try to win in over time.
Is he still the coach or was he canned????

i agree horrible coaching move to kneel on the ball with that much time and time outs left. 1:27 is a lifetime when u have timeouts and you have to try to win it. in my opinion he was playing not to lose instead of playing to win
