Just for the fun of it....If all 6 of the teams left in the playoffs played each other, what do you think their records would be?

I think it would end up this way:

Gainesville 5-0.
Wimberley 4-1.
Cuero 3-2.
Tatum 2-3.
Sweetwater 1-4.
Hutto 0-5.

Not "underestimating" or "bragging" on any of them, shank. Just thought it would be interesting where each poster would pick these teams to finish if they all played. I'm sure there are those who will disagree with my picks---that's fine--that's the purpose of this board--cussing and discussing Texas HS football.

Well, it's not like you are going to be "shot" if you are wrong, GM. Honestly, this is just a "veiled" method for personal rankings of the remaining teams. It has no credibility---it is just an opinion poll.

this is my opinion and my opinion only. i hate to make my east texas friends mad, but...................... i think tatum and sweetwater are the 2 weakest teams still playing. they just happen to play one another. we've heard about gainesville and cuero all year. we hear about different teams, all year every year. all i try to do is go by people i talk to and what i read. hutto and wimberly MAY be the best 2 teams this year.

not making anyone mad, congrats to all 6 teams still playing. and i'm still jealous:D

Well, lostaussie, getting "thumped" on the Downlow is not the worst thing that can happen to us. Sometimes, it can even be "enlightening" when the "thumper" has a valid and intelligent point. However, if making picks in HS football season gets you "thumped"---I guess my nickname is going to be "Lumpy".

Nah, I think that most all of us here know that any one of these 6 teams are perfectly capable of beating any of the other 5 on any given night.
