This is limited to Big Country teams. The winner is Case Keenum.
Boy, there is a surprise. Here, I thought they would pick a player
from Snyder. I can't believe it wasn't a tie between him and
Taylor Potts.

For those of you that don't know. Keenum QB'd Abilene Wylie.
Taylor Potts QB'd for Abilene High.

There is so much talent in our little part of the world right now, I would'nt want to make that decision.

on what bases???

RUSHING Yds: 963 Att: 135 Long: 52 TDs: 14
PASSING Yds: 2417 Comp: 100 Att: 171 Ints: 7 Long: 52 TDs: 20

RUSHING Yds: 121 Att: 43 Long: TDs: 4
RECEIVING Yds: -18 No: 1 Long: TDs:
PASSING Yds: 2990 Comp: 227 Att: 346 Ints: 9 Long: 70 TDs: 22

i say they are way to close to be called one over the one on top is case keenums and the bottom is taylor potts...i would think cause case is almost a 1,000 yard rusher while almost passing for 2500 yards (remind you he did not have the best recievers either, gary was a great reciever but he player all types of positions)
in potts defense he threw from almost 3,000 yards but had over 150 more attempts...

to close to call but i would go with case keenum..and no its not cause im from wylie i actually played baseball with potts till i go into highschool..

Most of what Potts did was against 5A
competition.
Most of what Keenum did was against 3A
competition.
I think that is what separates them.

they could have also considered this "how did each QB perform in their 'biggest games?'"

Potts did lead Abilene High to a 24-2 (may be 25-2) record the last two years...but against Southlake he was 0-2. He threw an INT when his team needed a touchdown to win the game and then this year's debacle.

Keenum did not have has an impressive of a record as Potts but in big games he showed up EVERY time! Without him they don't beat Cuero...don't beat Decatur...don't rally to beat Canyon...and don't stand much of a chance against Gainesville this year.

I can see your point and somewhat agree with you, but Potts was just as important to AHS. Without Potts I don't think the Eagles would have been near as good as what they were the last two years.
