Welcome to the Doctors office for your daily dose of the doctors orders...now lets see what I want to prescribe today how about a dose of...let me prescribe this a dose of Christmas cheer folks, and this is to everyone because I always believe that you cant have enough Christmas cheer in your life. Now I know all the Sweetwater fans have been all about "Spread the Red", but I think it would do us good to "spread the reason" and by the reason I mean the reason for the season...thats right Jesus. Its kind of like A Charlie Brown Christmas, when charlie brown asks "Can anyone tell me what Christmas is all about?" And then the great theologian of the Peanuts gang, Linus Van Pelt steps in and gives his great Christmas story speech from Luke Chapter 2:8
"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field , keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not; for, behold I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace good will toward men". ..And then he closes by saying "Thats what Christmas is all about Charlie Brown"
so thats the order for today just remember the reason and then apply it to your life and spread Christmas cheer to everyone you meet
