Baseball Fans (World Cup info)

MLB announced some stuff about the World Cup, managers, and players at the winter meetings....It looks like the MLB players are really gonna let this happen along with MLB....here is a list of the MLB players playing on different countries......

This could be a very interesting tournament, the pitching for USA will be great no doubt....Astros on the team include Biggio, Clemens, Pettitte, Lidge, Berkman, and Gallo (Italy not USA).....im glad it looks like they are doing this in a way in which the MLB players are free to go play....it will be interesting every 4 years....

no but they are being VERY leanient with where players can play. I forgot what countries citizen laws they are applying across the board...but pretty much if you can trace a parent or grandparent to being from that country then you can choose to play for them for purposes of this tourney.

The US team will be loaded. Don't underestimate the Venezuelan, or Dominican teams though. They will be very stout competition.
