Looks like they may be a legit team after knocking off back to back top 25 teams. Guess Penders has them back on the right track...

Houston hoops looking good, Penders said he would like to play Texas but they wont play him because Penders and Houston would beat the Horns.
Bellville will have a U of H player next season, Nick Mossely, from Bellville has signed to play at U of H after this year at Bellville.

I doubt Texas is scared of the Coogs ... they have a ways to go to be on Texas' level - at least this season.

I think they would give them a decent game though. They just knocked off the #25 and #13 teams back to back. But no I dont think they are at Texas' level yet

Would be a good game for a half. Texas would romp!!! Penders did the right thing when he came in and kept the first assistant, recruiting guru!!! Also helps to bring in the head coach from Midland JC and his players!!!

I never said they were a top notch team. I just think they have improved tremendously from the 2 games I have watched. Seem to have good chemistry together and have potential to win almost any game they play.

That story isn't true so I don't know why UH fans want to spread that rumor. I've heard it 5 times already.

Rick Barnes and UT made an offer and Penders and UH didn't take it.

Couple that with the fact that Penders has been talking unnecessary smack about Texas ever since he was let go and you have the reasons why there hasn't been a game scheduled.

This rumor didn't come from UH "fans". Penders himself said this on 610 radio the other day.
