I'm just saying...Hutto is an excellent football team. It would be VERY difficult for Cameron to come back to win this game against a quality team as Hutto...especially this deep in the playoffs. Cameron has choked in the state quarterfinals several times in the past 10 years. For Cameron to win this game tonight, they would have to play the best half of football they have played all season...absolutely no mistakes. I hope Coach Mullins reams them in the locker room during halftime, light a fire under those boys. This would be the first time since 1987 that Cameron would end up in the state semifinals. But, IMHO, I just don't see Hutto falling apart in the 2nd half.

Very balanced attack with the spread I think. They have both running and passing weapons that are all more than capable. The defense is pretty ballanced as well, we didn't complete one pass, unless it was to a Cuero defender (3 interceptions). LH attempted 8 passes, we were fairly successful on the ground (339 yards.), but Cuero normally allows less than 200 yards on the ground.

Congratulations to Hutto! La Grange played yall in 2002 & 2003 when my son was playing. There were some big young sophs on the line then and it looks like they grew up to be very tough Hippos. I watched the game films several times from the 2003 game and am not surprised that the Hippos are bringing the wood this year. I predicted an upset against Marlin and now we'll see if they can step up a notch to knock off Cuero, a team with no weaknesses , big and fast. It should be a great game and whoever wins will win state IMO.

I guess it's true what they say about how hard it is to beat the same team twice in the same year. Hutto definitely looked like the better team in this game.
