Just got back from that game. Texas State's stout. They were just a couple of plays away from making it a blowout. Barrick's accuracy just wasn't there tonight.

And props to the Poly special teams. They were the only reason the Mustangs were still in the game in the second half. Haven't seen the replays or highlights yet, but it looked like they got a hand on one of the FG attempts and their punter kept it away from Texas State's kick returner all night long. Punched those balls straight, flat, and away from from him.

By the way, Cal Poly got dominated on offense and defense.

In the championship do they play at a set stadium or is it at the team with the better rankings stadium?

I think they do it at the team with the best GPI's home stadium. They were ranked going into the playoffs, and I know TSU was fourth (just not sure if it's based on GPI or what). I know that if TSU goes on to play Furman, they'll play in San Marcos. If TSU plays Appalachian State, they'll play at Appalachian State (wherever that is).

Oh, and looks like the Bobcats are going into a shootout with Northern Iowa next week. Don't know much about them except that Kurt Warner played there.

Judging by their stats on ESPN, though, both teams are offensive juggernauts.
