Wharton - Lamar Consolated Scrimage

Wharton offense started off a little slow,but really picked it up as the scrimmage went on.Wharton running game & passing game looking real strong.On the defense side its going to be hard to run the ball on the tigers,they are big and very physical.Whartons rb hudson,washington,mitchell looked stong again running the ball,hudson,washington both run 4.3,mitchell 4.5

wharton did look a little sluggish at the beginning of the scrimmage, but they quickly recovered and had great success running the ball and defense looked pretty good overall except for one or two long pass completions. wharton's weakness again appeared to be the passing game with the quarterback looking a little nervous and he was kind of shortarming some passes and the receivers seemed to not run crisp routes or the even gave up on some balls they could have easily caught. A possible reason for the early poor play was that lamar consolidated appeared to be much better than they expected and they were much better than the yoakum team they scrimmaged last week.
