well to ask a question like that you will get some responses like that.....it doesn't matter what color Tatum's team is.....the only color that matters is green and white to them.....

what's the big deal? I was just asking a question. I heard it was an all black school. It didn't make that much sense seeing as it was a town. I guess asking a simple question is a sin?

a note about about tatum. they are a classy team with a classy coach. your team will always reflect your coach. last year when gilmer and tatum played in reg 2 finals, both teams got in a large huddle and held hands during the playing of the national anthem. they play tough clean football and to me that is what it is about. represent your school and your town. as for the team they played last night, like i said, your team will reflect your coach, and i am certainly glad that guy does not coach in my town.

They have alot of talent and speed. The are outside of Marshall and typical et team with alot of speed and good folks. :D

I was being sarcastic. I's an inside joke for Metroplex folks who follow 5A football, esp Euless Trinity.

Tongans are a people of South Pacific origin, who tend to be large in size, just as African Americans are stereotyped as being fast.

Perhaps you need to get with the coach of the Air Force Academy and learn how to rephrase this.

All you really needed to do here was ask if Tatum has as much "team speed" as Gilmer.

Gilmer is just a larger enrollment version of Tatum. Of course, the coaching style is vastly different as Tatum is more oriented toward defense and doesn't run the spread on offense.

Tatum has more of a traditional "smashmouth" approach, the style applauded by spread detractors who do not think it represents "real football."

Like I stated in a previous thread, Cuero can run both of those types of Offenses!

Just like i told mustang07 about a month ago. i'll put my entire team of fast players against your 4 track stars any day. i'm not saying ya'll won't win by any means, just don't underestimate them.

We will not under estimate their speed on the field I promise you that, but I do believe they better watch out for us, we have just as much or more team speed. My guess is that Tatum will be the favorite coming into this game, because i'm sure they are bigger than we are, plus they have speed too.But it will take alot of heart to win this game, and i know my MUSTANGS HAVE ALOT OF HEART AND MUSTANG PRIDE........sweetwater by 6

My goodness. It's not like i was directing any racial remarks toward african american's. I just simply heard they were an all black school. I am in no way racist, I even have a majority of black friends. I think everyone exploded over this for no reason.
