Well I read The Austin American Statesmen almost everyday, and they have been raving about this team all season. Apparently they are big, fast, and disciplined. Guess that showed tonight. I think to most on here they have been somewhat of a "darkhorse," because there arent many Wimberely posters to talk about them.

Their defense scored 2 TDs against WOS, and their offense, particularly their RB (#32 Buse) was virtually unstoppable tonight. There were 81 points scored tonight, which is a lot for a semifinal game -- both teams moved the ball pretty well, but Wimberley, like all successful teams do in big games, easily won the turnover battle, they only had a few penalties, and made big plays when they needed to.

We played tough just not tough enough to be them. They are a very good team on both sides of the ball. They will win state hell they proved last night how good they really are this year.
