Not too many SE Texans going to feel too sorry for WO-S after the beatings they have put on us all so many times. They had a great year. Been a few years since they tasted some playoff success and I bet they are right back here next year.

they had a great year not takin away from that they were by far the best in setex, but almost all the wo-s posters are arrogant and everyone knows

Hey, 13-1 for the year and losing to this team isn't shamefull.
The best team won tonight and I wish them well. No one has man handle the Stangs like this, not even in 4A and 5A.
This is the worst beating I can remember.

Bottom line, these WOS poster bail every year afyter getting beat. That got MAN-HANDLES tonight by a MUCH better team. WOS plays a weka district and has not played anyone in the playoffs. Like my motto says, WOS SUX!
As for next year, they will loose at least 3 games before the playoffs. Beasley is gone, along with most other talent. Without him, they can't beat their way out of a wet paper bag. Bridge City WIL beat them next year by at least 2 TD's.

Boy just got back from the game and what a whoopen the Texans put on the #1 team in the world!!!!!! Hey WOS maybe if you would have brought that state trophy from 86 you could have hurled it at Wimberlys running back as he ran by. Team Speed my butt, the Texans just showed them what team speed was:D :D :D

Congratulations to Wimberley! No excuses here -- they definitely deserved to win, and I wish them the best of luck in their bid to be the 3A D1 state champions. :)

Wimberly really played a good game tonight. They played really good defense and their offense was unstoppable. They beat a very good WO-S team tonight handily. They keep playing their game and I expect them to bring home the championship. They definitely deserve to be playing next weekend. The Mustangs had a great season and will be back next year

We may not have been the best, but we were certainly better than the hill.
Surprisingly, we outgained Wimberley in yardage tonight. Their D was very, very opportunistic, and that killed us.

Excuses? For what? We have a great team. We just got beat by a better team tonight. You won't find me hanging my head or making excuses. Sure, there were some things that could have made the score a little closer, but there was no way my Mustangs were going to beat Wimberly last night. Wimberly out-played and out-coached us last night. They were very well disciplined and missed very few assignments. I just wish these 2 teams could have met in the finals, as I still think these 2 teams are the best 2 teams in the state 3A D1.
Jody, DARN IT, you got 1 right after 14 weeks! You and WORM can celebrate under WORM's rock.

congrates to a very good wimberley team. After what i saw last night you guys should win state. We were clearly beaten by a better team. #32 was just unstoppable, and code red really came through for yall. Good luck next week I'll be pulling for yall. Oh and was i wrong about your speed, DAM. you guys dominated the lines and your speed was for real.
