The 3A Division 1 title game between the Gainesville/Liberty-Eylau winner and the Wimberley/West Orange-Stark winner will be played at 6:30 on Saturday December 10 at Waco ISD.

Thats alot of what ifs that I doubt all four coaches have decided yet, but maybe they have.

why is it dumb? if its Wimb vs. L-E or Gainesville then thats a reasonable halfway point ... if its WOS vs. Gainesville its still good ... if its L-E & WOS then its close to equal distance although there may be some closer venues

plus getting a date/location this soon gives people time to plan and hopefully get off work for that day

lots of games are agreed upon a week before being played, especially if it makes sense, and in this case i think it makes very good sense.

I was thinking that if it was Gainesville vs. Wimberley, that Waco would be a good midway point. It's about a 2.5 hour drive for both teams.

Gainesville vs. WOS, I thought Huntsville would have been a good midway point. (But that's just me.)
