Fairfield dominates Aledo

Joey Worley’s junior-laden Fairfield Eagles continued to roll Thursday by crushing Aledo, 90-48, in the opening round of the Whitney Tournament.

Jarrett Manning led the charge with a game-high 16 points, while his cousin Alfraid Manning added 12 and post Ben Sturtevant finished with 13.

The Eagles (6-0) face China Spring on Friday in a rematch of last year’s Region III-3A bi-district playoff contest won by Fairfield at Navarro’s Wolens Special Events Center.
