anybody know the name of the kid from Puerto Rico a few years back that got his team stripped of the title b/c he was actually 14 not 12?

Wasn't it Daniel Amonte? Something like that I believe. He was actually from the Dominican Republic.

Unfortunate, but it happens too much. We played a kid several years ago in LL that had a 5 o'clock "shadow".

Elian Gonzalez. During that time when he was in the US causing all that controversy. A local restaurant here in RR would always post crazy and funny anecdotes on it's sign outside. The funniest one during Elian's stay in the US:
