View Full Version : Men always get it wrong!!!

A man walks into the closet to speak to his wife while she is rummaging through her clothes and asks her what she'd like for her birthday. "I'd love to be six again," she replied.
On the morning of her birthday, he got her up bright and early and off they went to a local theme park. What a day! He put her on every ride in the park: the Death Slide, the Screaming Loop, the Wall of Fear, everything there was! Wow!
Five hours later she staggered out of the theme park, her head reeling and her stomach upside down. Right to a McDonald's they went, where her husband ordered her a Big Mac along with extra fries and a refreshing chocolate shake!
Then it was off to a movie-the latest epic, and hot dogs, popcorn, Pepsi Cola and M&Ms. What a fabulous adventure! Finally she wobbled home with her husband and collapsed into bed.
He leaned over and lovingly asked, "Well, dear, what was it like being six again?"
One eye opened. "You idiot, I meant my dress size."
The moral of this story: Even when a man is listening, he's still gonna get it wrong.

What a sweet husband... I've always said "If you expect them to read your mind, then be ready for what you get or don't get!"
Just tell em it's not hard. When your  don't pout just spill it. Makes life alot easier. Can't stand a pouty person, it's just wrong.

How much would you charge to counsel my wife?
I've tried to tell her that for 25 years, but it never seems to get through.
Just kidding. Lately, she seems to have little trouble, telling me exactly what is on her mind. Whether I want to hear it or not.

It wouldnt bother me so bad, if she would just wait for the commercial breaks!

LOL see she figured it out... Tell it like it is, you go girl. Oh and Stang remember the phrase, "Be careful what you wish for!"

I think I could tell my wife for 25 years and it wouldn't be that she doesn't understand, but that she just doesn't care. At the risk of offending some of the female poster, I think women like to argue and sometimes are just looking for a reason to be mad at us. The best solution that I have found in my short time being married (6 years) is just to say I'm sorry and buy her something.

However, on my really big screw ups I usually aim for something in the furniture or jewelry family.

If you screw up as much as I do, you better change that stratagy, and quick. I'd be so poor, I wouldnt have a pot to pee in, if I did that.

I used to think the same thing, till I got my butt eat out, when my wife started planting flowers by the back pourch, and complained about the smell of urine.
It's a sad day, when a man cant pee off his own back porch!

Stang, if you have a dog just take it out at night, find the same spot and go, then you can blame the dog.:D

Wont work. They have a doggy door. They go when and where they want. Besides, I've been caught too many times.

my wife bothered me to be spontaneous so one time for no reason whatsoever I had flowers sent to her work. She called me after gettign them and said ' What did you do?" that was the last time that happened.

I just have this switch that is like an ignore button. She started yapping I hit the switch, I could care less to hear about drama or nagging.

LOL, When I was younger I had trouble with guys I dated b/c I didn't play the game... You know the one "oh honey my car is on the red line do you think I should put gas in it?" Oh Brother... My Mommie raised me better. I'd get frustrated with the "Damsel in distress" crap that all the guys seemed to flutter too, my uncles finally told me that men aren't worth a dime until they reach late 30's early 40's then they have finally figured out what's important in life and get their priorities straight. By that time they would rather have a WOMAN that can think on her own rather than a POUTY little Homecoming Queen... I think they might be right. :D
