Bill Parcells is saying that Dat is considering retirement. Dallas put him on IR today.

I just read the article in the Dallas Morning News. That's a shame. I liked the way he played.

Yes they do! They did have a second location in Ingleside at one time, but they might be back to just the original restaurant. I believe the one in Rockport has the Cowboy memorabilia in it.:)

I really hate to hear it because he had a great career at Texas A&M and played well for the Cowboys. A shame indeed. I think he has enough years for retirement but I sure hate that it ended already. :(

My uncle and I were having this conversation during the Denver game. It definitely will be sad to see Dat go.

i'm not sure how long he played for Dallas, but i think it takes 10 years of playing in the NFL to get the full pension.

I know it was ten years many years ago but I was thinking it was moved to 4 later. I may be wrong. I am sure the longer you stay the higher the retirement is though.

I think it is five years now, unless it has changed in the past two years or so. Also, there is a Hu-Dat's in Corpus just off of Saratoga (on Everhart or Staples--can't remember).
