In my opinion. I think Skye is much to small for a D1 college program, for football. As for Banyard.....I really think our offensive scheme does this kid a major injustice! I truly feel that if we were to go to an "I" option attack it would use his skills as a player better than they are used presently. Now, i realize that by going to the I, you might loose having Banyard and Greene on the field at the same time, but the offense is more flexible. Because we have the level of athletes that we do, you can line them up anywhere on the field and cause major mismatches in the passing game. Example, Greene in the slot being covered by a linebacker. I think if you give Banyard the 7 to 8 yards behind the center to pick up a head of steam he would be even more difficult to stop. Along with davis at fullback, who has been doing really well running and blocking. Then you add a healthy #15 to the mix and you have yourself a lethal balanced option attack. Maybe something to think about for next year, allbeit without #15. Just my $.02 worth.

Alright, People I am fixing to head to Dallas for a soccer tournament. My final picks for this weekend battle on friday night.
I believe it will be a great game, stang fans think they are going to run through Monahans I am going to tell you it wont happen.
Stangs you will see a solid all around team they can do it on special teams offense or defense the defense is not the best I have seen, but they can play. Sweetwater has speed but Loboes have speed and size and a staff that is excellent these are two of West Texas finest Football Programs and that is why they are playing some DECEMBER FOOTBALL should be lots of fun. My pick is still 24-19 loboes they will rise and shock the State again last week it was special teams that won it for the Loboes will see this week. Sweetwater has been a tough opponent for Monahans they have won them all but two '89 and '93 but this group of Loboes has the special brand in there heart, they can do it if not it will be a war for Sweetwater.

How can you get on here and post this, ahh you do know people read this. If you still want to bring up the monahans game that we played against them go ahead. I think all of this about Sweetwater beat Snyder, Snyder beat Wylie, Monahans beat Snyder and now Sweetwater will ...
is ridiculous! All of you know that to get this far in the playoffs you have to be good. On any given day, any team can beat the other .. a lot depends on the attitude, heart, and "want to" of the team.

Everyone knows that Sweetwater has had a lot of problems staying focused this year for 4 quarters. I think some of that is because of the egos that the team has had to contend with. However, I believe that in the game with Iowa Park,( who had the most awesome O and D we have seen in a big while), that Sweetwater turned the corner, and truly learned what it was to come together as a team. It sort of reminded me of the overtime win Sweetwater had with Austin Westlake in 1985. Thanks Snyder Tiger Fan. I have really seen a big difference in the team since that Iowa Park game. I believe that something big happened there, and I am cautiously optimistic the Mustangs are going to play like we all know they are capable of playing and win convincingly. No disrespect meant to Monohans, they are a good team. We know that beating Snyder wasn't easy - the fact that Monohans also beat you, and you were driving at the end and very easily could have won, just shows that they cannot be taken lightly. I think it will be a great game!

is ridiculous! All of you know that to get this far in the playoffs you have to be good. On any given day, any team can beat the other .. a lot depends on the attitude, heart, and "want to" of the team.

I agree with all of that except that in '85 we didn't beat Austin Westlake in Overtime because in '85 there was no overtime, we won that game on penetrations (for those of you old enough to remember what those are). Just wanted to clear that up before someone imparticular from Snyder (not all of them cause there are quite a few who are great posters) got on here and bashed you for making a mistake.

When the Bulls played Monahans, I thought this kid was Graves, the starting RB, and I told my buds---This may be a long night. Later, I found out he was the starting LB and goal-line "O" running back. I think if #34 ever gets "mad" he could do a lot of damage to opposing offenses.
