Man o man. Who would've thought the Q4 would come down to this? Cameron hasn't made it past this round in a LONG TIME and Hutto has never been this far in school history. The first time these teams met was not even a month ago and Cameron squeezed by 17-13. One factor to consider though is that Hutto never touched the endzone OFFENSIVELY. Their lone TD was from a kickoff return after a Yoe score. However, Cameron will be without all everything Derrick Evans BUT will be WITH original superstar QB Brian Scott. The defense is still there in full force but the Hippos have had some guys step it up big time since the playoffs have begun. In all honestly, these two teams have received little respect in the playoffs and are representing central Texas well. I hope for a Yoeman win but it is difficult to beat a team twice in one year. Cameron did it last year by beating Fairfield twice but Hutto is no Fairfield. Good luck to both teams and hope that they stay injury free!!!!!!!!

i agree 100% with all that you say. It is very hard to beat a team 2 times in a row. But if anyone can do it, it would be a talented team like Cameron. I think Huttos offense over the playoffs has been great. Just pounding it in there and controlling the clock. Also, no one has givin either team much credit. We been saying all year that 193a is the best of the best. Now having Cameron at #19 in the polls is just rediculous. But polls are just biaest opinions. Good luck to both teams and safe travels. I'll probably give a prediction when it gets a lil closer to game time.

seems like cameron yoe defense will keep this game close with special team play being a big part of who wins.

this will be another good game between these two but with yoe coming out on top again 20-16

Hutto's defense has been playing lights out of late. Cameron started most of their possessions (around 7 or 8) in Hutto territory and had a short field to work with during the 1st match up. The defense held them to just 17 points. But both of these teams seem to be rolling right now. Cameron lost their stud WR Evans but got back their great QB Scott. Hutto's QB Jeremy Kerley is 100% healthy now,he was probably close to 75% last time. Plus,Hutto's starting punter is 100%,he didn't play against Cameron last time, thanks to Giddings.......AHEM!!! I think Hutto has had a harder road to get here. But when you get this far in the playoffs, all the teams got here for a reason and deserve to be here. I know during the week there may be some smacked talking going on but both teams respect each other. Good luck to both teams. I know we will support the winner,no matter who wins.

You should have a choice for "too close to call". This will be a neighborhood brawl of epic proportions. I won't vote in the poll but I will be at the game. I was at the first game between these two. I also saw Cameron play Bellville and Giddings. Cameron came from behind to win each of these 3 games. Derek Evans was the driving force in each comeback. If he was playing this week I would say that Cameron would win. But since he is out, it is just too close for me to call. Good luck to both teams.

who would have really thought that both hutto and cameron would be playing for region 3 championship 3 months ago. Heck 3 weeks ago. Both teams are having great years. The loser of this game will have alot of pride in knowing they went to the 4th round of the TEXAS highschool playoffs! What a great accomplisment

as previously stated, Derek Evans suffered a Broken bone in his left leg 2 weeks ago vs. Robinson. Because of where the break is in the leg, right above the ankle, he is having surgery Thursday to have screws put in. Very serious injury, no doubt he's out for basketball season....I'm sure some D19 basketball coaches are glad to hear that. We wish the best for Derek on a safe, quick recovery.

By the way......Game is Saturday, December 3, 7:00 Round Rock ISD Stadium....Hutto once again will be home team, Cameron the Visitors....hope to see yall there!
