Good night for 30-3a. All six district teams won last night. Here are the scores I could find.

Looks like Sinton might have their hands full in district. I was impressed with the Ingleside score. Thought Fal would win this one easily. All 30-3a teams look like will be no pushovers this year. Good luck Sinton Pirates the rest of the year.

The only 32-3A game played in the valley was:
Hidalgo 27 Roma(4A) 12
All of the others were cancelled due to a monsoon we've been experiencing.

Sinton/OG was prolly the most important game in So-Texas this weekend... I thought it was very important that Sinton get their first win... It's better to start off slow and 'then' get started, then to not get started at all...

NOW, hopefully they don't keep it up next week, ha, but that was a good win for the Pirates...

Gobbla, I had a similiar state state of mind about this game, too. Orange Grove was the heavy favorite for their district this year(even if they play in a relatively weak district). They returned alot of talent from last year's team. A nice win for Sinton that shows these guys have lots of character. It got that bad taste out of their mouth from last week's loss to Rice.
I hope this win signals a return "of the Swarm". :cool: We'll see in a week.
