This may be another tough game. Remember 2001 when UT beat Colorado during the regular season but lost this big game 37 to 39. This has me worried. Colorado got whipped by Nebraska and they will be determined to avenge their first loss and show that they are a better team than the one that played Nebraska. Let's hope they at least leave the bad fans home. Whew!

Since Texas will have "home" field advantage so to speak I'll give to the Horns by 21. Colorado ain't got no 260lb fullback do they? Aggies fullback kinda beat up on my Horns a little. :D

as long as Vince comes out and preforms to his ability they wont have a problem winning this one by a long shot

I agree, but many thought UT would have no problem with Coloroda last time in the big game.

I dont know what was wrong with Vince last week against the aggies, but i can assure that if he has another one of those kinda games that this wont be as easy as everyone thinks it will. Mack Brown should be working the Longhorns butts off after last week and i think that Vince will come out and dominate.

Why are you calling him Radio?

I thought only the [insert insulting noun here] on TexAgs did that.

The Longhorns should win this one easy, but im worried the way they played against the Aggies,if that was just a bad day i hope they got it out of their system.

I sure thought Major was the QB in the game UT lost to CU that year.

He came in after Simms got hurt and turned the ball over 4 times. I think CU was up 27 to 10 when Major came in and through a td pass to B.J. Johnson on his 2nd or 3rd snap in the game.

To many differences to compare this year's game to 2001.

First off Texas had a 7-0 lead when Cedric Benson got hurt and the running game was no longer a factor in 2001.

Colorado was a good team that had 3 good runningbacks and they exploited a Texas D that was good but not great.

Back then Texas did not respond to adversity well, this year's team seems to thrive on it. Even if Young throws an early int it never seems to affect him.

Texas 35
Colorado 14

You gotta look at last weeks game two ways. The Aggies came in with the attitude of having nothing to lose. Probably did some things they normally wouldn't do and they were working. Longhorns came in after several huge blow-outs maybe a little cocky and just coulldn't get things going their way till the 4th QTR. I think they'll be well prepared for this game. Aggie game may have been a blessing in disguise.

Jorvorskie Lane isn't a fullback, he lines up at tailback everytime he is in the game. He is a BIG BIG joker though!! 5' 11'' 265lbs. and he is only a freshman.

For us (UT) to win we have to play well. We must be focused and cautious and careful. Remember what happened to us in the 2001 game. And don't forget that CU whipped Nebraska the year Nebraska played for the NC. CU will be determined to show they are a better team than what we saw last week. Nebraska may have awakened a sleeping giant last week and made him determined to win this Saturday. So we have an uphill battle this week and not an easy game. In spite of the obstacles we can win but we must be focused and encourage our team to do so also. Please also control your fears and anxiety with courage and confidence in the future.

Colorado had a very tough running back that year. Plus Chris Simms choked his but off. Major came in and almost won it. I don't see much of a game this time around. Go HORNS!!! \;;/

can anyone tell me if my coaching card will get me into this game

i doubt that the coaching card will work. A few years ago i tried to use it at the TECH- NAVY bowl game. Tech said that reliant wouldnt let them give away tickets like that.

it would be nice.

A coaching card won't work for a conference championship game.

And CU will get blown out of the water. VY is pissed, the team is pissed, VY is playing in his hometown in front of tons of family, it's the last tuneup before the showdown with USC, CU has lost their last two games and is still the North Champ....there are too many variables for UT to lose.

With that said, I'm counting down the days until we leave for Pasadena--well, technically Las Vegas.

And sinton75, I don't know who you root for (UT or A&M) but you hit the nail on the head. I like you. :D

KTJ I will agree with you those are some major factors going into this game this should help Texas get up for this game.

Texas clearly is the favorite here, but Barrnett is a very good coach. This one could get interesting.
