IF HE TRANSFERRED AT THE BEGINNING OF SPRING SEMESTER, HE WILL NOT BE ELGIBLE FOR THE NEXT FOOTBALL SEASON.

He lives in Everman ISD now...of course he'll be eligible..only way you sit out is if you transferred for other reasons I think I may need some clarification on this rule though...Everman had 2 kids transfer in 2000 at the start of the fall semester and both played becuase their parents moved into Everman ISD..heck Dunbar had like 7 kids transfer in at the start of the fall this year and all of em played..I think LaGrange had a LB from Burnet transfer in and he played also...

U have to give proof and reason for the transfer...it cannot be athletic reasons....you have to prove that the transfer wasn't athletically induced!

If your family moves - they move! What's a kid supposed to do - live under a bridge in the old neighborhood? Kids transfer quite frequently in the city - no big deal. I'm sure the kid will play.

I thought a transfer had to sit out six weeks before playing varsity ball of anykind. My soph. year we had a junior transfer in and he played on the JV until his six weeks was up. Now in this case it won't affect football because there is more than six weeks left of school. I know it college if you transfer you lose a year however.
