KOGT just reported Johnny Dishon the qb for bc was in a one car accident tuesday night.Although his injuries are not life threatening it is doubtful he will play Sat.

From the bc board.He flipped his car and has a hair line fracture in his neck.He will not play Sat.

That is a shame. My prayers go to him, his family, and his team. Any type of neck injury can be a scary thing.

just thank god hes safe. I remember when me and some friends were in a wreak and it was a big mess. Stuck in a ditch and all that. And i thanked god that we were all safe. Life is very precious. I wish him and his family well and hope he has a succesful recovery

This is a very horrible thing to happen... I just heard about this from a mutual friend. Dishon is an OUTSTANDING young man as well as athlete. The good news is that there is no permanent damage and he'll be OK to play again by baseball season. I also feel for the rest of his team too. Maybe this can be a rallying point for them.

My prayers go to you young man. BC really had a chance to do well this year. It will be alot tougher with your QB but not an impossible task.

I echo a lot of what is said on here. The game is just what it is....."a game." I am glad he is okay. It obviously will make it very tough for BC, but it is a team game and Bridge City will win or lose as a team. He is a only a junior so he will have plenty of more opportunities to play ball. My prayers and thoughts are with him and his family.

Oh ya, BC is done. He was their best player by far. I feel for his family. What is cause for the accident?

I guess we will see how BC responds. I do think that taking Dishon out of the game takes about 3 TD's off the score board. However, the good news to all of this is he is okay.

Astro, I don't think Jasper lost simply because we put alot of points on the board it was more like Jasper didn't put any points on the board. Point being BC's defense will keep points off and I believe even with a new QB BC is more than capable in finding the endzone.

That is very true, the BC defense is still very strong. Hopefully these players will dig down deep and find the motivation to win. BC still has plenty of weapons, but losing Dishon on offense is quite a blow.

Tough break for BC, but as Para has said it is just a game. The important thing is his swift recovery and I hope that his Family is taking all of this ok.

Bad news for BC football this year..but great to know Dishon is going to fully recover. Best wishes and prayers from my way.
